I live in Düsseldorf, Germany, but I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa. I have a Mechatronic Engineering background and started my career doing firmware development, embedded design and software engineering in a startup within the RFID space.

After the acquisition of the startup. I went to Germany to work on Industry 4.0 projects and IOT product development where I focused on building data-driven solutions.

After 6 years working (and learning the language) in Germany, playing my role in the digital transformation of 2 companies and adding the finishing touches to a couple of IOT products, I am currently consulting as a data engineer on digital transformation and in my free-time, developing web-related applications.
